Cutting Edge is a not-for-profit financial co-op that puts people ahead of profits! Since our founding in 1953, we’ve existed to serve the employees of our Workplace Partners and their families with affordable banking products and services and financial education. In 1953, ten hardworking employees of Oregon Saw Chain Corp. (now Oregon Tool) came together to form a credit union looking for a better way to bank - and Cutting Edge Credit Union was born! Today, we serve employees of many other businesses and their family members through our Workplace Partnership Program, for the betterment of our communities and local economies.
When you become one of our Workplace Partners, you provide your staff with the opportunity to reap the benefits of banking at a member-owned, not-for-profit credit union. From “second chance” products to free financial coaching with a certified credit union financial counselor, you can empower your employees to achieve financial wellness - at no cost to you.
