I have been cleaning and maintaining roofs and gutters since 1979, with forty-six-plus years of experience. There are two main types of roof cleaning: hand brushing, not sweeping, and power wash wand and/or disk cleaning. The kind of cleaning may depend on the roof's condition and the climate. My name is Dennis, and I own and operate Roof Clean Care LLC. I perform all the estimating and work to be done; how often do you get an owner as experienced as I am in providing you with all the company's services?

Asphalt, also known as composition roofs, I clean primarily by hand cleaning or power washing when needed.
The Importance of Physically Inspecting a Roof to Provide an Estimate/Proposal: Inspecting a roof is critical to determining its condition and the method of cleaning it. I do not take over-the-phone estimates. Hand brushing the roof, not sweeping it, is important, but the roof has to be dry, and its condition is important, which is why I inspect all the roofs in person.
